The Lagos State Judiciary is currently on trial. According to what we were told by a reliable source, one of their judges whose retirement is around the corner was allegedly paid a whopping $1 million (about N156m) to deliver judgment in favour of a top politician in the state who is standing trial for the mismanagement of over N1 billion.
YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine investigations revealed that the deal was for the judge to accelerate the politician’s trial and also free him before bowing out. Unfortunately, the thing leaked and to checkmate both men now, the forces fighting them have decided on another strategy. First is to get the prosecuting counsel to withdraw from the case; ensure that the matter drags for a little while; then the judge will retire; another judge will take over the case as well as another prosecuting counsel. “There’s absolutely no way the man won’t go to jail”, insisted our source. “He’s a big fraud and has used part of his loot to bribe the judge. Both of them thought they had it all worked out until we got wind of their sinister move, which we have also come to scuttle with our superior strategy. Now, we want to see how he can get out the mess”.
The politician in question occupies one of the highest positions in the state. Dark complexioned and well built, the 9th and 1st alphabets begin his names. His accomplice, that is the judge, has the 15th alphabet beginning his.
