Aeroland Agency CEO, Hon. Segun Adewale, aka Aero, has promised the good people of Lagos West Senatorial district that better days are coming if elected as their representative in the 2015 elections under the umbrella of Peoples Democratic Party. The popular businessman who represented Alimosho Federal Constituency in the 2011 election is the anointed candidate of the PDP for Lagos West. Aero, who flagged off his campaign some weeks back, promised amidst other things, to formulate life-changing bills and lobby other senators to pass them into law in his quest to directly impact the socio-economic well-being of the generality of his district, give them a voice in the scheme of things to end the obvious neglect and marginalization of the people, attract federal presence to Lagos West Senatorial district so as to articulate the needs of the people in the area. He equally promised to ensure accountability in disbursing funds allocated as constituency allowance to his office on projects that will improve the living conditions and quality of lives of his people across the 10 local government areas; a monthly financial report of how funds are disbursed in the interest of the people, empowerment of the people and ensuring that quality of life is significantly improved. Adewale, who prides himself to have completed more than 41 personal community development projects, said: “I say to you today, we have a long way to go and together with you, I am not afraid to walk this path with the understanding that we have more to do, for the aged, children and the youths, for the students and pupils in the area of bursary disbursement, textbooks, examination fees, building of classrooms and others; for the artisans and market women; for the unemployed graduates in the area of skill acquisition, job provision and social support; provision of social amenities like portable water, motorable roads and more. We can do it”. He is banking on the votes of 10 local governments – Agege, Ajeromi/Ifelodun, Alimosho, Amuwo Odofin, Badagry, Ifako Iyaiye, Ikeja, Mushin, Ojodu, Oshodi/Isolo to actualize his dreams.
