It was an evening of high level networking and fashion display recently in Johannesburg, South Africa. A lot of dignitaries were in attendance, but the special guest of honour was Nigeria’s Consular General to South Africa, Mr. Okey Amuche. Others were music super star, Yvonne Chaka Chaka and star actress, Genevieve Nnaji, who cut the ribbon to officially declare the shop open. Also present were Amb. Saul Kgomofdomolobi, South Africa Consul General to Italy; Mudi brand ambassador and Super Sport presenter, Mozez Praiz and master of ceremonies, actor/comedian, Basorge Tariah Jnr. As the evening wore on, guests couldn’t help but marvel at the exquisite and exclusive designs that were on display. Speaking at the occasion, the brain behind the designs, Mudiaga Enajemo said he couldn’t have be happier. According to him, Having such wonderful people leave their busy schedules to honour us tonight is so humbling and I am gratified. At Mudi, we ensure that our clients get the best and we are determined to keep it so. It’s been over twenty years of varying experiences but our quality has not changed, rather it has continued to improve over the years and all I can say is that we will keep on improving to meet the dynamic changes in today’s fashion world”.
In the words of a Nigerian resident in Jo’Burg, Mr. Tunde Olaniyi, the Mudi Relaunch was indeed a welcome development. He also urged other successful Nigeria businesses to come showcase their brands in SA so as to further improve the image of Nigerians living in different parts of South Africa.
