Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God as well as one of the most respected preachers of the Word of God in Africa has been getting thumbs up ever since information got out that he visited the family of the murdered Abuja Evangelist who is a member of his church, Mrs. Eunice Olawale.
YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine learnt that the septuagenarian servant of God was at the home of the Olawales very early today, on his way out of Abuja after a programme that he had at the stadium on Monday, July 11, 2016: ‘Yes, Baba was here this morning; say around 6pm. He prayed for the family and also encouraged them to remain strong and steadfast before leaving. And that, if you ask me, is one of the true signs of a compassionate leader; a leader that cares and also has the interest of his members at heart’.
We were also told that because of the time of the visit as well as the location of the bereaved’s residence, many people didn’t know about it.
Mrs. Olawale was preaching in Kubwa, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory days ago, when she was allegedly hacked to death by some religious fundamentalists.
A mother of seven, she was living with her family inside Gbazango Estate in Abuja.
Daddy Adeboye, like his church members fondly call him, was in Abuja for a programme. And decided to use the opportunity to see the family. Praying for them and also encouraging them to continue to hold on to God.
Earlier, the wife of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, had also visited to commiserate with the family.
