26 Directors-General overseeing some Federal Government parastatals today, Monday, February 15, 2015, lost their jobs in what may rightly pass as another major shake up by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Among those affected are Sola Omole of NTA, Ladan Salihu of FRCN, Sam Worlu of VON, Mike Omeri of NOA, Emeka Mba of NBC, Paul Orhii of NAFDAC, Onyeka Onwenu of NCWD and Ikem Odumodu of SON.
The other agencies whose bosses were equally asked to go were PTDF, NEPAD, NSITF, FMBN, NRC, BPP, BPE, PPMRA, ITF, etc.
They’ve all been asked to hand over to the most senior officials in their various establishments. The names of their successors were yet to be announced as at the time of writing this.
It would be recalled that all the affected DGs were appointed by ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
