Social entrepreneur and Ambassador of Peace, UPF-UN, Chaste Inegbedion, has been recognized for his work with the less privileged again. South African news channel, CNBC, just announced his nomination in the category of West Africa Young Business Leader of the Year. His nomination letter reads: Dear Mr. Chaste Inegbedion, Thank you for participating in the CNBC Africa All Africa Business Leader Awards presented by Johnnie Walker Blue Label. It is with great pleasure to advise you that the Judging Panel for 2014 have completed their judging process. We will be announcing the finalists live soon. Please be advised that we have engaged in proactive planning around the current EBOLA breakout in West Africa, which might impact proceedings of our AABLA ceremony planned in Nigeria. With this, we are currently adjusting the awards event dates to allow for additional time for the situation to settle”.
According to Inegbedion, he hopes the nomination will shed more light on his works with the less privileged and the needy. “It is good that I am nominated, it shows that we have achieved some of our goals. I hope the nomination helps people see that there is more we can do in terms of assisting others.”
Chaste also granted a telephone interview to SABC to discuss his 67 minutes in 7 cities initiative (Post Nelson Mandela) and has also been admitted alongside other Global Young Leaders to be part of the One Young World in Dublin in October and Thinking School Africa in Dubai in November.
