COLLEAGUES, FANS PRAY FOR KEFEE
Friends, fans and colleagues of popular Kokoroko and Branama crooner, Irikefee Teddy Esosa, aka Kefee, have been praying and sending good will messages to the artiste who has been in coma in a Los Angeles clinic for about two weeks now. Kefee collapsed aboard a Chicago-bound flight which forced the plane to make an emergency landing in Los Angeles. The petite and pretty gospel musician whose first marriage to music producer, Godwin Alec, crashed years ago did not show any sign of discomfort before embarking on the journey. But suddenly took ill mid air.
Kefee’s new husband, Teddy Don-Momoh, who joined her on Saturday, May 31, 2014, when he heard about the sad development, quickly called on friends, well-wishers and Nigerians as a whole to join him in prayers for his wife. Teddy made the plea from the U.S. where his wife is still under intensive care. Said he: “Kefee wants her friends, fans and well-wishers to know that she loves them. We just need prayers now; she just needs our prayers now because there is nothing God cannot do; prayer is the key. God is still the same yesterday, today and forever, He has done it before and He will do it again.” Although, the reason for her collapse is still a mystery, a source who informed YES INTERNATIONAL! that she’s been moved to Las Vegas, Nevada revealed that she might suffer a brain damage. But fans, families and colleagues have continued in their prayers for her. YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine spoke with some of her colleagues and they all sent their good wishes via prayers:

What else do I wish her but a quick recovery? I have told her she can’t die because I am not tired of hearing her call me “my bros” lovingly. I have told our Dad to have respect unto His covenant that “we shall not cast our young” and I know when I pray, He hears me. I have no doubt in my heart that Irikefe is coming back home to Naija…so help me God.

Irikefee Obareki, aka Kefee, of the Kokoroko fame, married Star FM’s Teddy Don Momoh Esosa in March 2012, few months after her marriage to former record label owner and producer, Godwin Alec collapsed. The former staff of MITV was very secretive about his relationship with the lady who also runs Branama Kitchen. As a matter of fact, no one knew about their relationship until the pictures of their traditional marriage in Delta State leaked. A graduate of the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Teddy who honed his skills at British Broadcasting Corporation and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, is from a royal family in Auchi, Edo State. He allegedly met Kefee in the UK. They recently obtained diplomas in Film Making from the U.S. and had started off on some projects together. One was the shoot of her music video which was directed by Teddy. She also recently released a single entitled, ‘Dem Go Talk’ before this disturbing incident.
