On Thursday, April 3, Nigerian music star, D’Banj, Femi Kuti, Omawumi Megbele, Victoria Kimani and others premiered the video for the social awareness single for Cocoa Na Chocolate. In the video, with the aim of raising awareness and increasing African leaders’ investment in agriculture, 19 other recording artists from across Africa like Bufallo Souljah (Zimbabwe), Dama Do Bling (Mozambique), Diamond (Tanzania), Dontom (Nigeria), Fally Ipupa (DRC), Judith Sephuma (South Africa), Juliani (Kenya), Kunle Ayo (Nigeria), Vusi Nova (South Africa), Liz Ogumbo (Kenya), Nancy G (Swaziland), Rachid Taha (Algeria), Tiken Jah Fakoly (Cote d’Ivoire), Victoria Kimani (Kenya) and Wax Dey (Cameroon) also participated. Cocoa Na Chocolate was co-produced by Cobhams Asuquo and DeeVee of DB Records. It was directed by Godfather Productions and shot in South Africa. The verses were written by each participating artist, but the hook was penned by D’Banj, whose company, DKM Media, partnered ONE to undertake the project.
