Akinwale Feyisekemi Ayomiposi, winner of the Next Movie Star Africa Reloaded 2013, will be honored by the academic community of the Ekiti State University. Ayomiposi, a 19 year old native of Ondo State and a student of the Facaulty of Arts, Department of French of the citadel of learning, beat 18 other contestants from across Africa, including Nigeria, to emerge winner of the prestigious Next Movie Star Reality TV Show. According to a statement by the Principal Assistant Registrar (Admin.) of the Ekiti State University, Mr. Jadesola Babatola, the decision to celebrate Feyisekemi, is because of the institution’s commitment to recognize and reward excellence, celebrate youth achievements, build future great men and women and re- echo the university’s strategic plan and commitment to liberal education and socio cultural development of Ekiti State and Nigeria at large. The event will take place inside the magnificent Oodua Auditorium within the institution’s premises on Thursday, February 20, 2014 and will kick off at 1pm prompt.
Expected at the event is the First Lady of Ekiti State and Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University. The Next Movie Star Reality TV Show has the antecedent of discovering new faces for the Nigerian movie sector and African entertainment industry, notably Tonto Dikeh, Uti Nwachukwu, Adams Ibrahim, Kareen Igho, Annie Macauley-Idibia, Phillips Adewale Samuel, Moyo Lawal, Tamara Eteimo, Tomiwa Kukoyi and Akinwale Feyisekemi Ayomiposi.
