Star actress, Empress Njamah, is really giving back to the society. The entrepreneur and MD/CEO, House of Empress, just hosted over 1000 children to mark her birthday. Held at City Park, Wuse 2, Abuja, on Sunday, November17,2013, the fun-filled shindig was attended by top comedians, including Gandoki, Emeka Smith, Akpororo, Funny Bone, amongst others. Comic actor, Ime Bishop Umoh (Okon Lagos), the Njamah brothers (Jimmy, John and Aquilla), Cynthia Amadi, Joy Egbunu and Ify Okeke were also at the mega charity party. Aside giving the children, drawn from various charity homes in Abuja and its environs a treat, Empress also showered them with gifts, affection and love. Equally remembered were some physically challenged women who attended the party. They got household equipment from the kind-hearted thespian. As usual, the birthday bash was a night of entertainment, with comic acts and singers thrilling guests to rib-cracking jokes and music. Asked why she usually celebrates with the less privileged children and the physically challenged, Empress said it’s all about passion. She added that she is moved by their plight. A popular Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah has shot over 50 movies. She now lives in Abuja, FCT, where she owns fashion outlets branded House of Empress.
