Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, is now a free man.
The controversial politician and lawyer who had been in detention over the messy and still festering Dasukigate from which he allegedly pocketed some millions regained his freedom hours ago.
The court had earlier granted him N250 million bail, but his inability to meet the bail conditions had kept him in detention until now.
Arrested and detained since May 9, 2016, the EFCC claimed Fani-Kayode got N840 million from the office of the then National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki, rtd and slammed him with a 17-count charge.
