This sure calls for celebration. The Uche Nworah-led Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS 88.5FM) has been adjudged the Radio Station of the Year.
The station which has undergone massive transformation since the coming of Mr. Nworah bagged the award on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the South East Entertainment Awards.
The event held in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.
Speaking on ABS’ triumph at the awards ceremony, Mr. Nworah had this to say: ‘The award is dedicated to Ndi Anambra and friends of the station for their support over the years’. Adding that he thanks and appreciates Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra State for his various efforts toward digitalizing the station, which is currently the rave East of the Niger.
