ANGELS COVE, a business reality television show is scheduled to debut in Nigeria by first quarter of 2016. Making the announcement recently at a press conference, Mrs. Kofo Olaosebikan, Managing Director of KOFSOL GROUP, one of Nigeria’s leading branding, marketing, and design agencies, said Angels Cove has been designed as a platform for bringing together established Business Achievers as Angels and emerging entrepreneurs who have financial as well as other needs in their businesses.
According to Mrs. Olaosebikan, Angels Cove was an idea birthed by the company’s passionate commitment to adding value to stakeholders in accordance with its organizational philosophy. “The objectives of Angels Cove include to provide a platform for sharing knowledge and broadening the understanding of business practices, entrepreneurship culture and values amongst budding entrepreneurs, support private and public sector stakeholder initiatives to reduce unemployment and enhance job creation, provide a platform for social dialogue and effective stakeholder interaction and engagement on relevant issues within the Nigerian business community and to foster and entrench a culture of entrepreneurship in Nigeria” she declared.
KOFSOL GROUP is collaborating with the Nigeria Employers Consultative Association(NECA), the umbrella organization of employers in Nigeria and both organizations have signed a Memorandum Of Understanding to formalize the partnership.
In his own remarks, Mr. Timothy Olawale, Director, Social, Economic and Labour Relations of NECA, the umbrella organization for employers in Nigeria, described the collaboration on the ANGELS COVE project as an expression of NECA’s commitment to its social responsibility obligations by creating stakeholder value through a platform for private sector employers to interact with the government, labour, communities and other relevant institutions in and outside Nigeria. “ NECA is honoured to collaborate with KOFSOL GROUP on the ANGELS COVE project especially as KOFSOL GROUP has a widely acknowledged track record for pioneering initiatives within and outside Nigeria including co-organizing the World Brand Congress, an annual event which brings together the World’s biggest brands, the Ribbon Rogue, an initiative supported by the United Nations aimed at raising funds for AIDS’ awareness both in the Province of Alberta, Canada and Africa, as well as capacity development/empowerment programmes, in America and Asia under the auspices of one of KOFSOL’s US-based associates, Beta Motivation” he declared.
Mrs Olaosebikan also urged all stakeholders and prospective sponsors to support ANGELS COVE which she said “is coming at a most auspicious time in our national existence as both the private and public sectors including the Federal Government must seek for mutually-beneficial ways to partner with KOFSOL GROUP on this initiative which aligns with the national imperative to grow businesses, job creation and poverty alleviation to revamp the Nigerian economy and return our dear country Nigeria to the path of peace, prosperity and progress”.
