Like you, YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine has also come across too many lawyers who dress well. But do you know the truth? None compares or can compete with Dr. Eyimofe Atake, SAN.
Always immaculately and impeccably dressed, had the legal profession allowed lawyers to advertise, fashion designers and garment manufacturers would have had him permanently on their payroll and stuffing his bank account daily with millions of Naira as the face of their brands.
At events and even in the court, you can’t bump into Atake without taking a second look at his attire and the accompanying accessories. Everything is usually in order and looking spic and span.
Once invited to model for charity by Betty Irabor’s Genevieve Magazine, there is no arguing the fact that he is Nigeria’s best dressed lawyer.
Born on February 20, 1958, Atake, for the records, is not all about clothes, dressing well and looking good. He is also one of our best lawyers, having risen to the peak of his career (by becoming a Senior Advocate of Nigeria) at just 41! As a matter of fact, he bagged his LLB at 21, became a junior counsel at 29, set up shop at 30 and added the SAN title at 41.
An Anglican by faith, his mother is Victoria and his father, Justice (Senator) Franklin Atake of blessed memory. Educated at St. Saviour’s, Ikoyi, Lagos; Government College, Warri, Delta; Copford College, Colchester, England; The London School of Economics and Political Science, England as well as the University of Cambridge, where he bagged his doctorate in Law, the man, no doubt, is well read.
Married to Dorothy, a staff of Addax Oil whom he met during a visit to the company to see a friend, both of them have been together now for over 20 years and are blessed with four children – Amatoritse, Eyitorise, Tinuofe and Oritseloju, both twins.
