MTN is joining RISE to empower youths across Nigeria through vocational training, which is focused on advancing the aspirations and knowledge of youths all over the nation, by providing them with the opportunity to interact with renowned and successful Nigerian business icons and professionals, who will share with them their knowledge and the secrets of their success.
The forum, which will be motivating and inspiring, will engage youths across regions in the country. They include Imo, Edo, Oyo, Delta and Lagos states. Key note speakers will be on ground in advancing the vision and knowledge of Nigerian youths. In his words: “A key strategic focus for MTN is to constantly provide an engaging platform for Nigerian youths and the organisation has continuously demonstrated this through innovative initiatives like the MTN Project Fame, Link Forum, App Challenge and MTN Songstar”. Speaking further, Oyeyemi added that the essence is to provide an engaging platform for young Nigerians to exchange ideas, learn relevant skills and techniques from the speakers, ask questions where they need clarifications, find their common interests, harness their collective potential and rise above the limitations of their immediate environment and indeed the larger society, apart from providing them with substantial intellectual empowerment and building relationships with them. “Through this platform, many talented young Nigerians who will lead Nigeria into that envisioned ‘greater tomorrow’ will be unearthed, as they will hear from those who have excelled and established icons, esteemed professionals and entrepreneurs of our time, inculcating in them a greater vision for life and inspiring them to greater heights, as they move up the ladder of success”, he concluded.
