Game of Thrones drama series was the most pirated movie in 2015. It had 25 billion downloads and added up to 50% to the Scottish economy, one of the places where it was shot.
The movie won 26 Emmy Awards in 2015 and season 6 of the TV drama series will be out in April 2016.
Some of the things I am looking out for is if Jon Snow is really dead and how Mother of Dragons will handle her love life. I pray it’s not a set up sha!
For me, the novel which was originally released in April 2011, is the most unpredictable movie that I have seen in my movie and book adventure life. The writers, David Benioff and others, did a wonderful job by bringing the unexpected into the unimaginable. From my perspective, I enjoy Game of Thrones and Harry Potter’s movies over other novels because of the picture quality, actions, characters, directing and locations. Scotland made billions of Dollars from tourists who came to the locations where Game of Thrones was filmed.
Meanwhile, when you read autobiographies or biographies, unlike fictions, you will enjoy them more than their movies. Have you read any of Muhammad Ali, Malcom X or Mandela’s autobiographies? You will feel more connected, inspired and motivated than watching the movies.
Have you noticed that we don’t have books turned to movies in Nigeria, abi you don see any one?
That is one thing I am looking forward to seeing in this New Year. It will help our reading culture, Big Time!
I have three books on my shelf waiting for my reviews and I have copies of ‘God, A Man Of Relationship’, by Michael Rufus, a book I read on Christmas and will love to give out for FREE.
The Review of ‘God, A Man of Relationship’ will be out next week in YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine and Pulse.ng . I also have the reviews of ‘Untangle’, a novel by Olufunmi Osato-Osawaye and ‘David and Goliath’, written by my 2015 Best Author, Malcolm Gladwell, coming out this month.
I will love to read with you this month. Get a copy of any of the three books or the three and let us fix a venue, time and date to share our views on what we think about any of the books that sparks your interest.
Enjoy your week.
