Embattled and newly elected PDP Chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff, is insisting that he has no links with Boko Haram. Not only that, the two-time Governor and three-time Senator has vowed to seek legal redress against anybody that will henceforth associate him with the dreaded Islamic sect which has continued to wreak havoc in the country.
And for starters, he has vowed that ‘people like Femi Fani-Kayode (who has been kicking against his emergence) will not go scot free this time around’, for accusing him of sponsoring Boko Haram.
Undone, he described the Boko Haram story which won’t stop trailing him as fiction and emanating from the imagination of the writers whose reasons he still hasn’t deciphered.
But in a swift response, Fani-Kayode, an ex-Minister of Aviation, said he’s amused by the court threat. Adding that he’s waiting and ready to meet him in court – where he claims he will expose more things about Ali Modu Sheriff.
Meanwhile, the Board of Trustees of the troubled Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine can reveal, has also joined their voices to those saying they don’t want the former Borno State Governor at the helm of affairs of the party.
