The business of online publishing is about to change – and forever too. And championing this cause is the Online Publishers Association of Nigeria, OPAN, led by Femi Awoyemi of Proshare Nigeria and Austyn Ogannah of The Will Nigeria. OPAN is made up of only digital and online publishers who have subscribed to the highest standards in internet publishing with respect to editorial quality and integrity, credibility and accountability. The association also hopes to restore respectability to their genre, separate editorial from commercial messages and opinions as well as support publishing principles that will reflect traditional values. The formal launch takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2015, at Protea Hotel (Westwood), on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. Time is 10am prompt.
