Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin is the Founder and General Overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.
Amazingly, the wave-making church, which began as a morning devotional worship centre on April 3, 2010, with less than a dozen members, like a mustard seed, has grown to an enviable height and is now a reference point in the Christendom.
Amiable Prophet Jeremiah O. Fufeyin, a widely acclaimed philanthropist, is also revered as one of the pastors with accurate prophecies in Nigeria.
In fact, based on his several prophetic messages, which have manifested, he has been listed among the top three clergy men with factual prophecies in Nigeria by believers and members of his ministry, both at home and abroad.
The large-hearted man of God who is happily married to Anthonia and blessed with four lovely children – Harriet, Kindness, Goodness and Happiness, has through dint of spiritual hard work turned his ministry to a formidable church and sanctuary for troubled souls seeking God’s face.
The church, now a household name, sits on a large expanse of land situated on Km 5, Warri/Sapele Road, Delta State. From a very humble beginning like most great men, the servant of the Most High who once attempted suicide is unarguably one of the most sought – after clergies that we know today, thanks to his spiritual endowments and prophetic powers.
The mammoth crowd that usually visits the headquarters of his church is a clear testimony that God is truly and sincerely using him to assist and liberate mankind from the kingdom of darkness.
Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, who was born on February 15, 1972, was raised in the polygamous home of late Pa. L.S.T Fufeyin of Ofonibidi, in Eguomo and Okosuzimo quarters in Ojobo, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. His mother, Mrs. Asetu Fufeyin (nee Boubeni), hails from the Asetu family of Medetu in Gbegbai quarters of Aleibiri in Ekeremor L.G.A of Bayelsa State.
The fire-brand winner of souls is No. 22 out of the 36 children sired by late Pa. Livingson Stevenson Toboukeyei (L.S.T) Fufeyin. The humble and unassuming preacher is also the third child of his mother.
The quest for knowledge led him to Zuokunor Primary School, Ojobo, in Burutu L.G.A of Delta State between 1981 and 1986. With an encouraging result, he was admitted into Gbesa Grammar School, Ojobo, between 1985 – 1992.
In his quest to eke out a decent living, he began a film showing business in Ojobo and made a huge success of the enterprise.
In fact, he was the first to embark on film showing business with a mobile projector round the nooks and crannies of Delta and Bayelsa States respectively. And this brought him so much fame in both states.
As a restless young man with so much energy and enterprising spirit, he later left Ojobo for Burutu town.
His stay in Burutu experienced a lot of ups and downs. Fortunately, his elder brother deemed it necessary to engage the promising prophet with something to keep him busy till the appointed hour. The elder brother equally established a mini-super market business for him, which later collapsed due to mismanagement.
But with a determined spirit and resolve not to give up, he delved into patent medicine business.
The humble preacher combined this new trade with amateur wrestling, where he was able to distinguish himself. The business again also collapsed.
Industrious Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin now introduced the Okada business into the interior parts of Delta State, Ojobo to be precise.
The young man also embraced the GSM business to connect all the nooks and crannies of the riverine areas of Delta and Beyelsa States, thus opening up easy communication for his people. This hugely applauded initiative led to his becoming the first man to connect states in Nigeria and abroad from Ojobo town via GSM.
Meanwhile, an insatiable appetite for God’s work necessitated his turning point in life.
Immediately he left Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, he knew the time had come for him to take the bull by the horns. He began his new covenant with God by rededicating his body and soul.
To fortify himself for the tough journey ahead, he embarked on a spiritual journey and fasted for three days, seven days, ten days and twenty-one days continuously.
Which ultimately led to the formation of Christy Mercyland Deliverance Ministry on April 3, 2010.
And till date, the life changing and soul winning ministry has continued to liberate souls and change lives to the glory of God and joy of mankind. Surprisingly, with his rising profile and prophetic powers came rumours of the anointed man of God using marine powers to prophesy.
The malicious accusation was fuelled by members of his former church. However, those spreading the rumour failed to take into cognizance the forgotten prophecy of the rise of a prophet in the Niger Delta out of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries by their overseer, several years ago.
As a law abiding citizen, Prophet Jeremiah O. Fufeyin’s Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry is registered as a church with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja.
The church, which has grown in leaps and bounds, now boasts of branches in major parts of the country.
And to the glory of God, the anointing on the man and his ministry is daily increasing via prophesies, deliverance, healing and salvation; with an increasing population of over 15,000 dedicated members and more within the period of 2011 – 2015.
Prophet Jeremiah O. Fufeyin is celebrating his journey, not his destination. He’s advising everybody to always feel good about where you are now and to be confident about where you will be tomorrow.
Jesus said this before He died for mankind: “This I say: “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (2 Cor. 9:6).
