The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, was today docked at the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja. The former Governor of Kwara State, after what looked like an endless game, eventually appeared before Justice Danladi Umar – and in fulfillment of his promise to be at the Tribunal unfailingly.
Saraki was slammed with a 13-count charge bordering on incomplete disclosure of his assets as a Governor by the CCT. Of course, he pleaded not guilty and was granted bail on self recognition – with the now very controversial matter adjourned to Thursday, October 22, 2015.
Attired in a cream Agbada with a cap to match, he was accompanied by about 50 Senators.
