Top business partners of the next generation network, Globacom in Nigeria have commended the telecommunication giant for appreciating their efforts at marketing the company’s products and services with generous car and monetary gifts.
A cross section of the partners who stated this after receiving car gifts, multi-million naira credit notes, plaques and other gifts at the exquisite 2015 Glo Business Associates Awards and Dinner held on Saturday night at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos opined that the appreciation by Globacom was unprecedented in the industry.
One of the awardees, the Managing Director of Office Devices, Mr. James Odogw said, “Globacom is a great company. Doing business with Glo is good business. Glo knows how to reward their partners and when the reward would come it is always big”.
Another awardee, the Bajulaye of Ijebuland and Managing Director, Demus Mayor Limited, Otunba Ademola Adenuga thanked the company for appreciating its partners in an elaborate manner, adding that they (Trade Partners) were sufficiently mobilized to better their performance. He concluded that “Glo is a strong brand which rewards its partners in a very big way”.
Also speaking, another star partner, Alhaji Mohammed Mutiu Anthony, Managing Director of Easy & Quiet, noted that “every time Globacom comes on board, it is always big. I promise to continue to support Globacom with all the strength I have. I am going to use 95 per cent of my abilities to work for the company.”
For Prince Ubong D-Imoh of Idems Ultimate Limited, no telecommunication company does it better than Globacom. “The company has beaten our imagination in their reward system. Kudos to Globacom for this appreciative gesture which will definitely spur us to do more”, he stated.
Welcoming guests earlier, the National Commercial Coordinator, Globacom, Mr. Yomi Ogunbamowo, in an address delivered on behalf of the Chairman of the leading telecommunications company, Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr., said the company was very proud to celebrate its business partners who worked very hard to promote the brand in the last one year. He added that Management was very appreciative of their vital support.
He thanked the partners and solicited for more support in the coming years, promising a bigger and better reward system next year.
In a presentation at the ceremony, Globacom Regional Marketing Director, Mr. Ashok Israni said the company would focus on four key pillars in 2016 namely huge investment in the brand, innovation and new proposition, highly improved customer experience and digital marketing which would enable the company to improve in all areas.
Top Trade Partners carted home brand new Toyota Hiace buses, Toyota Yaris, Toyota Corrolla, Toyota Camry, Ford Explorer, Toyota Prado, Toyota Land Cruiser V6, Range Rover Sports and Range Rover Autobiography as well as credit notes in millions of naira for deserving business partners.
Entertainment at the event was sublime as Glo Ambassador, Omawumi and the highly creative Olu Jazz serenaded the partners with delightful music while Gbenga Adeyinka, Mama G, Chiwetalu Agu, Mr. Ibu, Seyi Law and Bovi treated them to vintage comedy, drama and wise cracks to make the dinner memorable.
