The Managing Director of Stine Industries Ltd, Amichi, millers of the popular Anambra rice, has assured that the company will meet up with the demands of Ndi Anambra and other customers for Anambra rice.
Chief Egwuonwu, who spoke with the MD/CEO of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Nze Uche Nworah at the ongoing Anambra State Jubilee Trade Fair currently going on at the Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, thanked the Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, for the wonderful support the state government has given to his company and other agriculturists in the state.
He said that they are encouraged by that and would continue to work hard to ensure that Anambra State retains its position as a leading agricultural state in Nigeria.
Chief Egwuonwu further thanked all those who have patronised Anambra rice at the trade fair and said that his company was greatly encouraged by the growing demand for the unique, stone-free and finely polished Anambra rice which comes in different affordable bag sizes. He said that the company has sold over 500 bags of rice in two days and since it opened its stand at the fair.
The Anambra Jubilee Trade Fair is jointly organised by the Awka, Nnewi and Onitsha Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture. The fair will be officially declared open on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 by the state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano.
