The winner of the Globacom-sponsored dance reality TV show, Dance with Peter, will emerge this weekend, the next generation telecom network has revealed.
The company said it would be a thrilling end to the show which has been ruling the airwaves since August.
Finalists battling for the coveted crown are two incredible female dancers, Amazing Amy (523) and G-Xtreem (507), who will trade tackles with five equally talented male dancers, Julius Faktah (520), who is the only remaining contestant from Ghana, C-Fly (524), Da Octopus (503), Kelvin (521), and Mali Hot Boy (511).
The top prize bankrolled by the telecommunications operator is a Toyota RAV 4 SUV, a N3million cash and a rare opportunity of featuring in the next P-Square’s music video. In the same vein, the first and second runners-up will cart away a brand new Honda Civic car, N2million and a brand new Kia Rio car with N1million respectively and a chance to feature in a top Glo Ambassador’s music video.
Though all seven finalists are indubitably talented dancers, the three best who, going by their consistency and dance energy are likely to win, are Julius Fakta, Kelvin Ayanruo and Amazing Amy. Fakta, a 23 year-old student of the University of Ghana, dreams to be one of the world’s most awesome and fantastic choreographers. 24 year-old Kelvin who hails from Delta State came for auditions as a member of Elevators NG dance crew and was subsequently picked by the judges to stand as a solo contestant.
Amazing Amy is touted to win by many watchers owing to her amazing dance skills. The 17 year old is currently seeking admission to the university and desires to become a professional dancer. However, many watchers also think Julius Fakta and Kelvin may stand in her way.
Permutations and anxiety about who clinches the crown will be laid to rest on Sunday, December 20, 2015 when the show goes on air on Africa Independent Television (AIT) at 5.p.m. It will equally be aired on MTV Base on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Star music artiste and Glo ambassador, Dapo Oyebanjo, a.k.a. D’banj, the Koko master,  is expected to wear two caps at the grand finale of the dance reality show. He will be entertaining the audience and would also serve as guest judge during the final performance by the contestants.
