Chisos! Hilarious actor, Imeh Umoh, popularly known as Okon Lagos or Ime Bishop, just landed a political appointment.
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel Udom, just made him his Special Assistant on Ethical and Social Re-orientation.
Commenting on his good fortune, the actor who is married to Idara and blessed with a daughter, said ‘Yes it’s true…’
A native of Nsit Ibom in Akwa Ibom State, some of Imeh Bishop’s works are The Boss is Mine, Silent Scandal and Edikan.
The actor, however, it would be recalled, is only following in the footsteps of others like Richard Mofe Damijo, who moved from an SA to ex-Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan to Commissioner in Delta State; Okey Bakassi, who served under former Governor Ikedi Ohakim in Imo State and currently, Femi Adebayo in Kwara State and Bob Manuel Udokwu in Anambra State.
Congratulatory messages, meanwhile, have been pouring in for Mr. Umoh.
