Billionaire businessman and chairman of Forte Oil Plc, Femi Otedola, and his company have refuted the news making the rounds about them reducing fuel price to N115 – instead of the government’s approved 145 price.
According to a statement issued by the company on their Twitter handle, @ForteOilNg, nothing like that ever happened.
“Our attention has been drawn to a reduction in price to 115 NGN at our gas stations, This is false.
“Forte Oil Plc would use its official handles to inform its customers and the buying public of any price change.
“We therefore inform our customers and the buying public to ignore these false rumours as they are untrue and we disassociate ourselves from same.”
