Honourable Oladipupo Adebutu, Member, House of Representatives (Ikene/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency), has reminded Muslim faithful in the country not forget the lessons of Ramadan which is about getting closer to the Almighty Allah via humility, personal denials and self-restraint from sin and worldly pleasures.

In his Eid-el- Fitre message, Adebutu said the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SAW), emphsised love and peaceful coexistence which our country is greatly in need of at this point in time.

He further enjoined the Muslim community to use the occasion of the end of the fasting period to pray for Nigeria, especially in this trying period, over its security and economic challenges while urging religious leaders and Islamic clerics to continue to emphasize messages of peace among all citizens in all their teachings and preachings.
