Controversial politico and businessman, Senator Buruji Kashamu, has been kicked out of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Kashamu, the senator representing Ogun East in the upper chamber, was sacked from alleged anti-party activities, alongside three others – Semiu Sodipo Bayo Adebayo and Segun Seriki.
The party’s National Executive Committee, through their
National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, announced this after the 80th meeting of their NEC in Abuja today. The four men were specifically accused of working against PDP in the just concluded Ekiti governorship election.
“The party took disciplinary action against its members who have been hobnobbing with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in ways that were detrimental to the interest of the PDP,” Ologbondiyan further clarified .
