Bruce Malogo, a former Saturday Editor of The Sun newspaper is bereaved and devastated.
The moustache-wearing journalist recently lost his wife, Mrs. Bolade Adefunke Malogo.
Believed to be in her 50s, she died on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
Here is how he broke the sad news on his Facebook page:
In deference to the sovereignty of the Most High God, I announce the passing of my irreplaceable wife, BOLADE ADEFUNKE MALOGO (Nee Fagite). She passed on, March 20, 2019, one week to my mother’s funeral.
Ma’ma, I can’t say goodbye!’
And almost immediately, Malogo’s former boss and one of the founders of The Sun newspapers, Mr. Mike Awoyinfa also took to his Facebook to recount briefly his last encounter with the good woman:
‘Death has robbed Bruce Malogo, former editor of Saturday SUN of his Jewel of Inestimable value: Mrs Bolade Adefunke Malogo. Met her recently at her son’s wedding and she was the perfect hostess. Woman with a generous heart and cheerful mien. She would not let me leave the hall without being saddled with gift items. May her beautiful soul Rest In Peace. Take heart Bruce. You won’t walk alone. We are with you. The Lord is with you.’
The cause of her death as well as her burial details were still unavailable as at the time of writing this. However, we are going to be updating you as we progress.
