Please, don’t be too far away from your television sets on Thursday, July 4, 2019, especially if you are a lover of good music.
The reason is this – one of Nigeria’s fastest rising new acts, Dopeman Twizzy, would be premiering his latest music video, Bumbastic, on HipTV’s Top Notch.
The time is 10.30am, with a repeat at 6.30pm.
The afro-pop/dancehall act whose real name is Tobechukwu Ukairo told us that the new video was shot in Nigeria, but of international standard.
The good looking crooner added that besides that, anyone that watches it must be proud of their efforts. “In fact, for me, it’s actually one of the best videos to emanate from this part of the world.”
Born on May 19, 1996, Dopeman Twizzy, has always fancied music, even from infancy.
He, however, elevated that love and likeness for music at the Oxford Brookes University, in the United Kingdom, where he studied Sound Technology and Digital Music, graduating in December 2017.
So far, he has released three singles with many others awaiting their time.
Other than his burning desire to contribute to the growth of the music industry generally in Nigeria, and even beyond these shores, the dreadlocks-wearing new sensation wants to touch lives with his meaningful lyrics and then inspire more young people to embrace showbiz.
