Uzama Okpalaeke Elevated To KSJI’s Noble Degree

One of the most respected and prominent sons of Azia, in Ihiala local government area of Anambra State, Ichie Uzama Okpalaeke, on Saturday, September 28, 2019, attained the highest degree of a Noble Knight in the Order of Knights of St. John International.

The colourful ceremony which held at the Enugu Grand Commandery, inside the Holy Ghost Cathedral, was conducted by the Bishop of Enugu, Most Rev. Dr. CVC Onah, and was very well attended.

Called Exemplification and Investiture, the Noble Degree, according to YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine findings, is the final stage for any KSJI member. Those admitted into the league automatically qualify to be addressed as NOBLE KNIGHTS of KSJI.

In a brief chat with us, Sir Okpalaeke, a Law graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka and a former member of the Anambra State House of Assembly had this to say: “I feel happy attaining the highest degree of Noble in the Order of the Knights of St. John International. This is the aspiration of all members.”

Continuing, the likeable Ikenga of Azia and Ebonesie added that, “In the Order, we have 1st to 5th Degrees. So, the Noble Degree is the final degree in the Order, which one qualifies for after spending at least 15 to 20 years in the Order.”

On what would happen now that there are no more ceilings to be broken, the Managing Director of Ginpat Aluminium Industries Limited said, “Of course, you know that the price for Nobility is Humility.” Amidst smiles and pumping of hands with friends, family members and well wishers who were on ground to felicitate with him.
