Emeka Ihedioha’s reign as the Governor of Imo State has just come to an end – what with today’s Supreme Court judgement.
And taking over from him, YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine can confirm, is Hope Uzodinma. The former belongs to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party and the latter the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Ihedioha, prior to his emergence as Governor, was the Deputy Speaker, Federal House of Representatives. Uzodinma, on the other hand, just finished serving as a Senator.
Interestingly, controversial Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, had allegedly predicted that Ihedioha would be sacked. And only very few people took him seriously. Now, he’s been vindicated.
More details coming!
