One of the greatest as far as country music is concerned in the world, Kenny Rogers, is dead.
He was aged 81, and reportedly gave up the ghost after a 25-year battle with hepatitis C, and much later a liver disease which left his back totally paralyzed. He breathed his last at exactly 10:25 PM on Friday, March 20, 2020.
Diagnosed in 2017, he hadn’t made any public appearance since 2018.
Music lovers, all over the world, have been heaping praises on him.
Born and raised in Houston, United States of America, the child No. 4 in a family of eight won Grammy Awards three times.
Married five times and blessed with five children, the family is considering a low-key burial for him because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
