Newly wedded Nigeria’s foremost and celebrated singing sensation, 2Face Idibia, thrilled distinguished guests at the Nigeria Breweries Plc Distributors Award which held recently at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos to an unforgettable night of honour in an annual event tagged “Our Bond, Our Success”. The appearance of the artiste on stage sent the audience into frenzy with phone and cameras recording his every move. He entertained the audience with his vast repertoire of hit songs like African Queen, See Me So, Implication, One Love, Ihe Ne Me, E Be Like Say,
to the delight of all. The night saw Nigeria Breweries give out a total of 116 awards in various categories which include: National Volume Champion and Region Volume Champions; Regional Volume Champions who attained minimum of 2 million cases, Regional Volume Champion who attained less than 2 million cases, District Champions who achieved minimum of 2 million cases, District Champions who achieved 1 Million – 2 Million cases, District Champions who achieved 1 Million cases, Millionaire Club (SKDs who achieved above 1 million cases), among others. The prizes won include a Mercedes Benz truck; Mitsubishi Canter trucks; Mitsubishi L200 double cabin; Forklifts; Sound proof generating sets; cash rewards and free cartons of Nigerian Breweries products. Magulf Enterprise Limited, having sold the required cases of Nigerian Breweries products, emerged best distributor for the year 2012. The company grabbed the coveted award and a brand new Mercedes Benz truck to further enhance their business.
Speaking at the event, Sales Director of Nigerian Breweries, Mr. Hubert Eze, disclosed that partnership with distributors and key transporters is a major factor in the company’s success story which has also contributed to growth in sales volume and impacted positively on profit margin. “The reward for our Key Distributors and Super Key Distributors and other trade partners of the company who excelled in the course of their business partnerships with NB Plc is in fulfillment of our promise and encouragement to them”.
