TINA VUKOR-QUARSHIE – Once upon a time Pharmacy graduate turned respected banker with IMB, Zenith, Platinum and so on. Married (to Prof. George Quarshie) and divorced, her secret romance with Silverbird boss, Ben Murray-Bruce produced a son, Cody. The one with erstwhile GB Bank boss, Fola Adeola’s brother equally brought forth another daughter, Sultana.
FUNMI IYANDA – The very popular TV girl. Funmi, a Geography graduate of the University of Ibadan, had a sizzling romance with soccer great, Segun Odegbami, which many thought would lead to both of them becoming husband and wife. Instead, all Funmi got eventually was a cute daughter, Morenike. The former Good Morning Nigeria presenter and New Dawn at 10 has since relocated to the UK where she’s begun a new life.
STELLA ODUAH – An Onitsha, Anambra princess. Stella is the Chairman/CEO, Sea Petroleum and Gas. Born in 1962 to Igwe D.O Oduah, Ozizor of Ogbaru, her romance with Engr. Chris Ogiemwoyi, a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and oil top shot made her the proud mother of a bouncing baby boy.
GLORIA IBRU – Gloria, daughter of billionaire mogul, Olorogun Michael Ibru, did not only enjoy a glorious relationship with frontline gospel musician, Sammie Okposo, there is also a daughter, Alula, to prove this. Currently 49 years old (and older than her lover), Gloria, a Communication Management and International Relations graduate of Robert Morris College, Pennyslavania, USA runs a music band called G-Notes.
ALABA LAWSON – The famous Iyalode of Egbaland and erstwhile President of Abeokuta Chamber of Commerce, she has a son for Miliki exponent turned evangelist, Ebenezer Obey. Lawson, owner of the Lawson Group of Schools, is popular on the social scene. Both then and now.
FAITH VADELAGO – For years, this pretty woman has been rocking the world of Andy Uba, a serving senator and former Governor of Anambra State. And with their romance still waxing strong, they have some children and other goodies to show for it.
GRACE EGBAGBE – A retired Director of Marketing with NTA. This ever graceful lady who trained as a lawyer (at the University of Buckingham) has a son (Nkemjika) for our former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme. From Benin, Edo State, Ms. Egbagbe is no longer as vibrant as she used to be on the social circuit.
GOLD ORUH – Also a former Director with NTA. Her golden affair with the then President Olusegun Obasanjo (between 1976 and 1979) resulted in two children, who are now grown ups.
AJOKE MOHAMMED – The widow of our assassinated one-time Head of State, General Murtala Mohammed. The secret dalliance she went into after the death of her husband with the MD of Promoserve, an advertising agency, Mr. Kehinde Adeosun, yielded two sons, who are big boys now.
LAVONNE CELE-TAWO – She once ruled the scene as a milliner of choice. Now Abuja-based and into contracts and publishing, her affair with controversial Lagos lawyer, Festus Keyamo, left them a daughter, Xanelli, who they will forever cherish and treasure. The dark girl looks so much like her father.
