Former Chairman of Ifo Local Government, Sikirulai Olawale Ogundele, is back in the state, after his sojourn in America and the United Kingdom. The ex-two term lawmaker in the state returned a week ago and immediately intensified his consultation and visitations to notable party stalwarts in his bid to become the next Governor of the state. Still a staunch member of the Peoples Democratic Party, a political party with a fair share of internal and external wranglings and defections, OSOCO, as popularly called by his faithful, in a telephone chat with GP said: ‘It’s a passing storm that will soon blow away. Everybody will reconcile in the nearest future to form a very formidable opposition that will come to the aid of the wailing Ogun masses”. Ogundele has embarked on a visit to all the wards to have a firsthand knowledge of the challenges the people are facing.
