Handsome actor, Mike Ezuruonye, should start warming up for a court case. Latest information reaching YES International! has it that the father of one will be dragged to court any moment from now. And the reason still remains the movie set he allegedly abandoned after being paid. The said movie, Centrifugal Force, is from the stable of award winning director, Teco Benson.
Mike reportedly took off from set after working with the cast and crew for 14 days, two of which he absented himself, due to what he claimed was ill-health. Everything has been on standstill since then – the reason being that he’s the lead actor and also playing a crucial role. The Abia State born actor, we were informed, had told the director that he wanted his artist fee upped, which Teco refused to acquiesce to. And while both of them were still on it – after almost a year – another actor playing a vital role in the movie, Justus Esiri, died! Now, Teco and his team are looking at the legal implication of his action. They want to drag him to court and claim damages for all the heartaches he has caused them, some of which are now beyond redemption. Centrifugal Force was being shot in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory when Mike’s action put everything on hold. The other known faces in it are Kunle Coker, Tonto Dikeh and Ebere Okaro.
Contacted earlier concerning the issue, Mike had said: “When they are ready to shoot, they will shoot. But the truth is just that they’ve not been able to get everybody to shoot. I don’t have any problem with them”. A claim Teco vehemently disagreed with when we got in touch with him.
