The statue of the reigning strong man of South West politics and National Leader, All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, recently crashed in Lagos. The statue, almost adjacent the popular Ikeja Shoprite – and with the Jagaban shaking the hands of an NYSC member in his trademark glasses and cap – has been on the ground now for days. What brought it down and when it would be fixed could no be ascertained before I drew the curtain on this week’s production. But I’m keeping watch.
