The media team of Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, is set to experience a new lease of life, what with the coming on board of an experienced hand in the business, Bolaji Tunji.
BJ, like close friends enjoy addressing him, was until recently an Executive Director with ex-Governor Orji Uzor Kalu’s The Sun Newspapers.
He, however, just joined Ajimobi’s government as Special Adviser, Communication and Strategy.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Olalekan Alli, broke the good news on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, which incidentally was his birthday.
Mr. Tunji, a jolly good fellow and active member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE, attended the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
He began his journalism career with The Guardian, from where he later crossed over to Daily Independent. He was also at Daily Times, The Comet/The Nation, National Mirror and New Telegraph, where he served as the pioneer Managing Director cum Editor in Chief, prior to being seconded to The Sun, as ED, Special Duties.
