This, no doubt, will sadden a lot of people – fire just gutted singer Queen Ure Okezie’s home!
YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine exclusively gathered that the fire incident whose cause is yet to be ascertained began at some minutes past 12 midnight, today. And by the time it was eventually tamed and contained, it had consumed everything inside her Master’s Bedroom, from where it was believed to have started.
‘Everything got burnt – her clothes, jewelry, documents, certificates, shoes, name it’, volunteered our impeccable source. ‘In fact, as I’m talking to you now, Queen is putting up with a neighbour’.
Continuing, the source said:’We just heard her shouting around after 12, fire, fire, fire…My house is on fire and everybody rushed out to assist her. She lost nearly all her belongings, but we thank God the fire didn’t take her life. She is so traumatized now that if you see her, you may not even recognize her’.
Queen Ure Okezie lives in Modupe Estate, along Ajuwon/Alagbole Road, in Akute, Ogun State. The beautiful estate is very close to Afrobeat king, Femi Kuti’s home.
