Season seven of Classic Africa Merit Awards, CAMA 2017, is set to hold on Sunday, September 24, 2017 inside the exquisite 10 Degrees Events Centre, off Oregun Road, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Designed to celebrate the 8th anniversary of Classic International Magazine, this year’s edition of the highly sought-after awards ceremony promises to touch all sectors of this country and even other parts of Africa.
With the cry of marginalization and strong agitation for secession across the nation more than ever, organizers of the event, led by the publisher of Classic Magazine, Mr. Dave Agwazim, has decided to chart a way forward for the nation with the gathering of eminent personalities to deliberate on the missing link in our nationhood as well as how to get out of the quagmire, hence the theme “Roadmap to Political Stability and Economic Prosperity in Nigeria”.
Under the leadership of Chief Emeka Anyaoku, former United Nations Secretary General and Professor Wole Soyinka as Chairmen, our ebullient discussants will robustly look at these issues as they affect our unity as a nation and the way out of recession.
Former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will serve as the Lead Speaker while Chief Edwin Clark, Professor Jerry Gana, Gen. Alani Akinrinade and co will serve as discussants.
Equally being expected are His Excellency, Mr. Donald Duke, Professor Pat Utomi, His Excellency, Obong Victor Attah, Chief Ayo Adebanjo and Olisa Agbakoba, SAN.
The indefatigable Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode is the host governor, Africa’s richest man and industrialist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote is the Special Guest of Honour while Deacon Iyke Kanu, the chairman of Classic Magazine is the Chief Host.
Distinguished sons and daughters of African descent and brands will be honoured with merit awards for their dexterity and quality service within the year under review.
