A new radio station, Lagos Talks, was recently launched by the Chris Ubosi-led Megalectrics Limited, owners of Beat FM, Naija FM and Classic FM.
The station, which operates a talk format, focuses on contemporary issues, from politics, current affairs sports, news, business, leadership and entrepreneurship. Also parenting, relationships, health and other areas of public interest. Lagos Talks will again discuss burning issues as they affect Lagosians. The new radio station boasts of experts and seasoned professionals as OAPs and they include Charles Anazado, Lanre Olushola, Joseph Faulkner, Uduak Udok, Jimi Disu, Okey Bakassi, Colin Udoh and a host of others.
Megalectrics Limited, home to urban radio stations, The Beat 99.9 FM, The Beat 97.9 FM, The Beat 103.6 FM London and sister stations, Naija 102.7 FM (Lagos and Ibadan) and Classic 97.3 FM, has been a steady and coherent player in the broadcasting and telecommunications industry.
Speaking on the launch of Lagos Talks 91.3 FM, Deji Awokoya, the General Manager, Megalectrics Limited, stated that:

Lagos Talks 91.3 FM is targeted at demographics between 18-45 years, operates 24 hours daily and is an official partner of the National Professional Football League, and also holds the audio rights for the English Premier League. Lagos Talks, on 91.3 FM, is operated by Megalectrics Ltd, who also run Classic FM, The Beat FM and Naija FM.
