Ebele Ezeamakam, aka Ebele The Flutist’s hard-work is gradually yielding results as she has been nominated for two awards in the Nigerian Gospel Music Video Awards, NGMVA. Her video “If You Don’t Know” was nominated as the Best Jazz Music Video and also Best Use Of Instrument. Ebele, who is arguably the first Nigerian female flutist, started music as early as a 15 year old. She is an accountant, from Anambra State, but grew up in Benin, Edo State and has released three audio and video CDs, Jawa Chineke, If You Don’t Know and Oghama. She was also at the first Music and Entertainment Gospel Awards (MEGAwards) on Friday, November 8, 2013, at the Haven Event Centre, off Oba Akinjobi Way, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, to perform.
