Embattled Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, has allegedly been removed.
And according to YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine findings, he’s been directed to hand over to the Director of Operations, by the Attorney General of the Federation, Ibrahim Malami, SAN.
Magu, it would be recalled, had been having a series of issues prior to now. And with his exit, a new candidate may be found for the position.
The Senate specifically accused him of graft, which he was yet to fully extricate himself from before he was reportedly asked to quit.
The Presidency, meanwhile, has described the sack as untrue.
