Greetings my people!
Monday, June 29, 2020 is finally here. And I am very, very grateful and thankful that the Almighty God has permitted all of us the grace to be alive and well and joyous and kicking to witness this day.
My team and I have had myriad discussions, meetings, engagements, and consultations, especially after COVID-19 disrupted and messed up all our initial plans for the public presentation of my two new books – Encounters: Lessons from my Journalism Career and Success is not Served a la Carte.
The good news, however, is that we have, against all odds, arrived at some new methods of ensuring that these two enchanting books eventually get into your hands and also occupy vantage positions in your libraries.
Today, the two beautifully-written books will be available online for PRE-ORDER. Getting copies is as easy as ABC: simply click on the Books menu on the Yes International magazine website, pay and we will deliver to you as soon as the orders are available. Yes! It’s that easy and effortless.
The two books go for N5000 (N2500 each) and for the delivery, we will charge just a token.
I will be glad to autograph them prior to delivery, if you do not mind, or so desire.
A virtual book presentation/reading will follow in the subsequent weeks. But for now, the details are still under wraps.
In the spirit of the widely received office book tour which I pioneered with my last book, The CEO’s Bible, I will also be taking Encounters and Success is Not Served a la Carte on an extensive, social-distancing compliant office tour. Please, watch out for the details.
If you are in the neighbourhood of our office – 29, Budland Street, Grammar School Bus Stop, Ojodu, Lagos – you could also stop by to PRE-ORDER your copies.
You can equally call us on 08023002092 for more details.
Sincerely, you all have been a huge inspiration behind these two engaging books endorsed by respected journalist and beloved columnist, Olusegun Adeniyi, and journalism great and one-time commissioner for information, culture and tourism in Anambra State, Tony Onyima.
While Adeniyi “highly recommend[s]” Success is not Served a la Carte, Onyima sums up Encounters as a must-have for every library.
Thanks so very much for being a part of this project, and please kindly log on to theyesng.com, PRE-ORDER your copies and let’s keep the conversation going.
Finally, I would be immeasurably delighted if you could graciously share this post all on your social media handles as well as avail us your candid assessment of the two unputdownable books when you eventually read them.
Thank you and do have a beautiful, fruitful, wonderful and purposeful day.
I remain your friend and brother
