Corporate sponsor of ‘Dance with Peter’ Reality TV show, Globacom, has begun receiving entries from interested participants in the dance show initiated by Peter Okoye of the P-Square group. The show is expected to feature dance protégés from Ghana and Nigeria who will compete for the coveted prizes. Registration for the dance Reality TV show, the company said, will be done through Glo lines and interested participants are to text ‘DANCE’ to 55517 for subscribers in Nigeria and ‘DANCE’ to 3030 for subscribers in Ghana. “Registration costs N100 in Nigeria and 0.5GHC in Ghana”, the company added.
It further explained that “once they send the SMS to the short code, they will then be requested to send their details such as Name and Location at no extra charge. All successful registrations will get a confirmatory SMS with instructions on what to do next.” The winner of the dance show will smile home with a brand new Toyota RAV 4 SUV and N3million, with an opportunity to feature in the next music video of P-Square. While the first runner-up will win a brand new Honda Civic, N2 million and an opportunity to feature in any top Glo ambassador’s music video, the second runner-up will go home with a brand new Kia Rio car, N1 million and an opportunity to feature in a Glo ambassador’s music video.
Auditions for the show will be conducted in 5 locations: Abuja, Accra, Benin City, Lagos and Port-Harcourt. The Abuja audition is slated for Friday, August 28, at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Central Business District, while Accra is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, at National Theatre, South Liberia Road. Other auditions will take place in Benin, Edo State on Friday, September 4, at the Oba Akenzua Cultural Center, Airport Road, Benin City and Lagos on Tuesday, September 8, at Bamako Studios, 1, Bamako Street, Ojodu, Lagos.
The last audition will be held in Port Harcourt on Thursday, September 10, at the Atrium Event Centre, Stadium Road. Ehis Okoegbule of MTV Base is the host of the show while great dancers like Peter, Kaffy and Flex will constitute the panel of judges.
