Lives of young Lagos residents have been brightened, kudos to MTN Nigeria’s CSR Campaign, which had the company’s staff teaching various topics to students in skills acquisition centres in Egbeda and Ikorodu amongst others. The Company kicked off the campaign tagged “21 Days of Y’ello Care” on Friday, June 1st, 2018 and since then, hundreds of young people have been equipped with many ways to improve their businesses.
MTNers (staff of MTN) were at these centres to interact with the students on how to take their businesses online i.e. utilizing digital marketing amongst other practices. Eager students, who furiously took notes, listened to inspiring talks on exciting ways to exploit online platforms for their businesses.
At Egbeda, Victor Orie-Ononogbu, Project Manager, 21 Days of Y’ello Care, MTN NIgeria, took his turn to break Rhesus Factor (the Campaign’s Awareness project), to brass tacks for the students.
To wrap up, Orie-Ononogbu promised that tutorials would continue online for the students of the centre! Shouts of excitement filled the air!
