Multi talented entertainer, Kingsley Ogbonna, aka Dauda, has just opened up exclusively to YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine on his recent appointment as the Senior Special Adviser on Arts and Tourism to Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
According to him, ‘It’s a humbling experience being invited by the Governor of my state to come and serve’.
The actor, comedian and singer who spoke to us in the morning of Thursday, June 9, 2016, on his way to Umuahia, the Abia State capital and from where he will function henceforth, added that ‘Arts and Culture are actually two areas where I will function well. So, it is more or less like a case of square peg in a square hole. I feel so justified’.
Dauda, a Marketing graduate of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, is in his 40s and about commencing a Law programme at the Imo State University, Owerri.
He was also one of the few artistes of Abia State extraction who stuck out their necks for Gov. Ikpeazu.
He was said to have gotten the good news at about 10pm last night, and is now on his way to Umuahia to pick up his letter and rules of engagement from the Governor’s Chief of Staff.
