The godfather is back! And this is both exclusive and authoritative. Yes, Niteshift Coliseum Guvnor, Ken Calebs Olumese, is staging another comeback to the entertainment sector where for about three decades he held sway and stylishly dictated the pace.
Mr. Olumese, YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine reliably gathered, is set to ‘whaaooh’ fun lovers again, like he did for so many years, before eventually retiring.
However, unlike before when he did so via a celebrity hangout, he’s coming back now with an upscale lounge. Dubbed The Premium Lounge, TPL will operate from the ground floor of The Coliseum, on 34, Salvation Road, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.
The place is currently being put into shape, and if everything goes according to plans, the doors would be flung open to the public in the next few weeks. The renovation work is in conjunction with one of the leading brands from Nigerian Breweries Plc – Heineken.
‘The official opening of TPL is going to be a major event. It will also announce the return of Olumese to reclaim a position which he left vacant years ago when he retired, but unfortunately no one has been able to adequately step into,’ said our source.
Olumese is currently in his 70s and hails from the university town of Ekpoma in Edo State. He ran what was unarguably Africa’s numero uno celebrity hangout in Nigeria until years back when he retired. But perhaps due to popular demand, the father of five is staging a comeback to his familiar terrain. Meaning that soon, our entertainment scene will never be the same again.
