The federal government of Nigeria has allegedly suspended the controversial Ruga settlements for herdsmen across the nation.
The suspension, we learnt, was ‘announced’ on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.
Though unconfirmed, the suspension must have been triggered by the non-acceptance by some state governors and stakeholders, including Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, who added that it might end up a subtle invitation to anarchy.
