The Dasukigate is still netting in more and more people – with the latest being the immediate-past Chief of Air Staff, Adesola Amosu.
The retired Airforce boss, detained since January 27, 2016, was accused of purchasing two helicopters in the mind-boggling $2.1 billion arms procurement scandal, which allegedly didn’t follow due process.
He may also be arraigned in court like other top shots implicated in the alleged financial recklessness and irregularities. Among them, Col. Sambo Dasuki, rtd, former National Security Adviser; High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, founder, Raypower and AIT; Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa, ex-Governor of Sokoto State; Chief Olisa Metuh, PDP spokesman, to mention but few.
President Muhammed Buhari had ordered a thorough probe of the arms deal, with a vow to punish and prosecute all those found guilty.
